I was born and raised in Sweden, but moved around different countries in my late teenage and early 20's. Since 2017 I have been calling Los Angeles my home.
I have spent the last ten years of my life in the Tech industry as a Collaboration specialist.
I live together with my fluffy Cockapoo named Johnny, who is my number one cruising passenger
I love to cook and host people for dinners. My signature dish would be something asian/fusion flavored with fish.

The longer story:

Growing up, I was very much in my masculine energy. Always striving to achieve and perform. "Go go go" was my motto in life. As an Aquarius and a middle child, I was very independent and behaved as a tiny adult, even as a toddler. In school I became a big achiever. Nothing but the best score was acceptable by me, for me.
My curiosity, together with my strive for excellence, pushed me out of my small hometown in Sweden as soon as I graduated high school, and I spent many years living, studying and working abroad. But no matter where I was or what I was doing, I was always chasing the next thing. I kept pushing myself to new goals and never, ever stopped and celebrated when I had “success”. I was never in the now.

Meanwhile, my passion for food and wellness mixed with my perfectionism also drove me to the border with orthorexia in my early 20’s. I was obsessed with being “healthy” and couldn’t bare the thought of eating anything unclean, sugary or unhealthy for my body. To nobody’s surprise – too much of anything, even healthy, can become unhealthy. Through therapy and a lot of my own stubborn determination and will-power, I managed to get out of the anxiety around my body. Healing such patterns takes a long time and a lot of work.
Simultaneously, my gut and hormones had been an issue since puberty, and it only got worse over the years. Bloating, indigestion, hormonal imbalances, gluten and food intolerances, cramps, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, the list goes on.. I had developed sensitivities to most foods and was bloated just by looking at a food menu.
I was ping-ponging between gastrointestinal specialists, endocrine specialists, family doctors, ob gyn doctors, and they all had one thing in common; they only fixated on one or a few very limited symptoms and focused on ruling out the big diagnoses (cancer, ulcers, brain tumors) while prescribing me stronger and stronger medication. In 2019, I had a suitcase of drugs under my bed and was feeling worse than ever. It was then I found my turning point. I went to a holistic doctor who took a birds-eye view on my body and all symptoms. We looked at my imbalances, stress levels, genetics, childhood, living situation, and did a ton of tests. I was diagnosed with SIBO and parasites which had also caused a very leaky gut and malnutrition.
Through meditation, gratitude practice, herbal regimes, supplements, diet, lifestyle and a lot of love and trust in myself, I have managed to heal tremendously, and I am fully dedicating my life to help others do the same.

Over the course of my own journey I have also come to transform my life and my view on wellness. I am much more balanced, relaxed and happy today than ever before, and I believe that wellness and joy goes hand in hand. When you feel good, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, you are creating a life of happiness and harmony.
